Paula Bowles
Hello! I'm a children's book illustrator based in the South West of England.
I have worked as an illustrator since I graduated from Falmouth University in 2007.
My publisher list includes Simon & Schuster, Nosy Crow, OUP, Little Tiger Press, Barrington Stoke and The National Trust. I am also the illustrator of the new ‘Mazy the Movie Star’ picture book series written by Hollywood star Isla Fisher.
My latest solo author/illustrator book, ‘Tiny Crab is a Tidy Crab’ published in 2022, recently won the Portsmouth Picture Book Award 2023. And I won the Lancashire School Library Service ‘Brilliant book Award 2023’ for my young fiction book ‘Marv and the Mega Robot’ written by Alex Falase-Koya.
I have also been shortlisted for many more this year, including the Indie Book Awards 2023 and The Alligators Mouth Award 2023.
